Have ye not read? - Salvation
In the videos below, pastor Martin Richling exposes specific heresies about salvation. And pastor Martin does so on the basis of the scriptures alone.
The sinner's prayer doesn't save you from hell
"Now we know that God heareth not sinners."
And "now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God."
"Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin."
"Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt."
And prayer is a work.
The gospel of John doesn't save you from hell
Matthew, Mark, Luke and John are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God.
But the issue between you and God is your sin. And without shedding of blood is no remission. And there is no blood in John 3:16.
Paul is our apostle in the current dispensation of the grace of God. His gospel of Christ is written in the first four chapters of Romans.
Most Christians are deceived and on their way to hell
the Lord Jesus Christ said most people who claim to be saved from hell, are actually deceived and going to hell.
'Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not:
from me, ye that work iniquity.'
You don't call God. God calls you. By the gospel
Learn what this means
God calls the lost sinner by the gospel. The lost sinner is to shut his mouth and believe according to the gospel.
"Believing" is a verb. If you do nothing, nothing happens.
Learn what you must DO to be saved from hell:
A person is "saved by grace through faith; Not of works". But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.
And 'believing' is a verb: something you do. As it is written:
'Sirs, what must I do to be saved?'
