Church group qualification

I was allowed into the Facebook group of a local evangelical church. I was new. So, I introduced myself and gave my testimony. I also asked what the group's belief was about salvation.

Aside from

1. being asked why I asked my question and
2. two wrong answers,

I was informed today by a group admin that my post and I would be removed from the group shortly, because I don't belong to the group's target audience: (former) church members and regular guests.

Apparently, being a believer isn't a relevant qualification.

​Another man (who I may call "elder") had responded earlier to my question with an invitation to a Sunday service: to "experience" what they believe. He gave the church address, but not the time.

I considered whether I should go... I already knew how it would play out:

1. some back and forth arguments, 
2. much one sided confusion, and
3. much hypocrisy.

After I pointed out the group admin's hypocrisy - without using the word hypocrisy - the removal process from the group was expedited.
