The mystery of iniquity

The mystery of iniquity:
A twofold lie of old:
Against truth clearly told:
The truth about iniquity:

The truth of God: his word is no lie:
The soul that sinneth, it shall die.
Iniquity's consequence thus made clear:
Death and hell, you should fear. 

Although iniquity yields pleasure,
And the lust thereof has no measure,
Its fulfillment ends inevitably:
Upon your death, replaced by for ever misery:

But against this truth, there is the lie:
First begotten by Satan, the father of lies:
As the serpent said unto the woman,
Ye shall not surely die:

The truth about iniquity thus belied:
Its consequence mystified:
Forming the foundation,
Against truth, to deceive every nation.

Satan added a fold to what he lied:
Darkness now a source of light,
Turning wrong into your right:
An eternal purpose, to keep you occupied:

As the serpent said unto the woman:
your eyes shall be opened,
and ye shall be as gods,
knowing good and evil.

Satan's twofold lie sets free:
No boundary but as determined by thee:
Your wants made right are justified:
Their fulfillment seek with all your might.

However, regardless being crafty,
Against truth, Satan's mystery cannot prevail:
Its revelation coming shortly:
For ever, its participants shall wail. 

The mystery of iniquity:
It is no secret to them that hear:
For the word of God is very clear:
Believe it if your soul is dear.
