The verse is found in 2nd Timothy 2:15 and reads: 'Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.' And most preachers who think they rightly divide the word of truth (especially the grace preachers) never understand that verses 16-18 that follow verse 15, teach and expound verse 15 perfectly. And this is because they isolate verse 15 to stand alone and then flee to the commentaries and wisdom of men to explain the verse. And if they only kept reading past verse 15 with an heart to believe the scriptures alone, they would get it. Most so-called grace preachers in the so-called grace denomination (for they are a denomination despite their claims to the contrary) base their entire ministries on this verse and we will prove that they are the most blind of all.
